Users are not hidden by surpressed algorithms, so enjoy your visibility! Members can post publicly or limit your posts to friends only. On Neighbahood, you can post on your profile page to your friends, on our home page/main feed, or talk movies, TV shows, science, art, and more on dedicated message boards and forums. This is a politics-free, light-hearted, social media app for people who prefer a friendly environment.This means that Neighbahood is a politics-free zone, so no political related content, signage, parody, memes, images, icons, logos, slogans, photos, videos, postings, innuendo, or references to political events, political parties, politicians, or political related topics allowed. We encourage users to visit other platforms for political related discussions or content. Violation of this rule results in a permanent ban and immediate account deletion. Politicianas are welcome here as members, but only in an unofficial, nonpolitical capacity. 

Violent or controversial content, especially content that results in flame-wars, bullying, trolling, or a mob of users attacking other members is not allowed. Defamation, gossip, innuendo, false, derogatory, or malicious content towards famous or public figures is not allowed. We would like to keep this space pleasant and friendly for all of your users. Violation of the rules will result in permanent and immediate account deletion. 

How to register: Complete all fields, including your "category." If none of the categories apply, click "Other" or you may choose "None" if you do not wish to have a category. Categories help people find interesting pages on Neighbahood.com. If you are having difficulty receiving a confirmation/validation email or a password reset after registering your account, some email providers will deliver our automated email hours later or mistakenly send it to junk. TERMS OF USE: 

1. Must be 16 years-old or older to register. 
2. No racism, homophobia, xenophobia, or bigotry to anyone for any reason. This is an automatic ban. 
3. No arguments, debates, or meanness, psychoanalyzing or creating ubsubstantiated or unproven motives about other members. If a party is behaving in a way that violates our terms on respect for others, press the report button to report behavior not aligned with the community guidelines. 
4. No politics. This is a politics-free zone. Members may use or create a private "groups" for discussions with members about current events.   
5. No spreading malicious gossip about members of this community, members of the public, or celebrities. Defamatory, false, or unsubstantiated statements about celebrities is not allowed  on  Neighbahood.com. We want this platform to be a safe space for everyone, even if you are famous. 
6. We value a safe space, so do not post content that is sexually explicit or harmful. Content that depicts children in an inappropriate manner, child sexual abuse and exploitation, including content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes, for example, grooming a child for sexual exploitation, sextorting a child, trafficking of a child for sex, or otherwise sexually exploiting a child is strictly forbidden. 7. No gratuitous content or violence. This is a violence free zone. 
8. No content showing violence or harm to people or animals.
9. This is our positive space and community. We would like to foster a fun, high-trust, hilarious community. 
10. No uploading of executable files. 
11. No solicitating or canned ham.
12. No excessively gratuitous nudity. No pornographic material or the promotion thereof. 
13. No toxic or clickbait titles or news stories designed to upset or bring negativity to this community.. We want this platform to feel like a breath of fresh air. 
14. No deception or disinformation. Vet your sources before sharing. Violators will be deleted and banned. 
15. We ask users to spend at least 4 hours of their day off site to engage in healthy off-line activity for self-care and health. 

One strike rule, users who violate community rules on being respectful to othes will be banned. Please follow the terms above.
