National Poetry Month: Open Mic Poetry Sequoya Library
Created By: E. Writer

In honor of National Poetry Month, MPFW is hosting open mic poetry on April 18 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Each poet will have 5 minutes. If there is time, we may have another round, depending on the number of people who show up. We have a few featured poets. If you have a poetry book, let us know so that you can appear as a featured poet. Please reserve, by confirming your attendance on https://neighbahood.com so that we can have a headcount and the appropriate number of seats. PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT WITH YOUR NAME TO LET US KNOW IF YOU WILL BE RECITING POETRY.

If you have a book, please feel free to bring some. We'll have a table set up to feature them, should you need to sign a few copies. See you there!

Martha Kaplan I plan to attend and would like to read. I know of one other person who plans to attend, may read, and I also plan to contact one other who has a wonderful new poetry book. If she comes, her name is Sandy Stark, I'm sure she would like to share her work. All three of us are poets.

Neighborhooder Moderator Thank you, we have you down as a featured poet and we are excited to have you. If you have any books, please feel free to bring them so that they can be displayed on the table for anyone in attendance who wishes to purchase a copy. If you would like to have us read a short bio for you, please send it to me a private message so that we can read it as an introduction. See you there!
