Otherwise, the site does have that capability in a few ways (it used to be on the right side) but we decided to stay away from data collection. There was also a male/ female count that allowed members to go through the members by gender. There was also an actual member list, but that made it too easy for the spammers who popped in a few times, to go down a list of names.and spam members. There is still a way to see members by category on the right, but one would have to go through a lot of categories. Some people don't have a category at all because they were manually migrated in from the first Iteration of this site. So they're not under any list under of the categories.

Neighborhooder Moderator Sorry, member count has not been a priority feature for any of us who have been members here since early 2025. As mentioned in the previous reply, we disabled our data collection features as we are keeping this platform distinct from other social media platforms by placing an emphasis on people (kindness), privacy, and keeping the platform free of algorithms that control visibility. I am guessing you are curious about member counts because it's not a chaotic fast-moving space like Facebook or Twitter, with people posting every second. That's by design. We don't want to keep people glued to their screens, but living life and sharing bits and pieces of life when they have time. As a result, this platform stays drama-free year round. I can see the member count on the backend, and how many people are active and online now under the admin tools. But, some people may not want to be "seen" as some people do come in and lurk.
