My husband will be asleep right next to me and I will get a notification that he replied to my post. And I think, really? So when he replied hours ago, the platform withheld the notification and show it to me when they were ready. When you are dormant for a few hours, the algorithms will send you notifications to get you back on the platform scrolling. I saw an excellent documentary on Netflix about it called, The Social Dilemma.

Roy Scarbrough Well here's the thing for me. Foolishly I used it as a place to store writing that I made no other copies. Foolishly, I never established other ways to contact friends I had acquired over the years, not without a lot of effort.
