I have a confession... For the first time in my life, I'm struggling with a title to my current WIP. I'm still debating if the working title will be my final title, but here's a clue

Alex Morton The Eyes of Darkness?

E. Writer Cat Eye

M. C. Ryder All good guesses... stay tuned!

It's quite smoky out? Stay indoors? No problem! I'm currently working on a writing project. Here is a hint... This is my background sound to help me get into the writing zone...

E. Writer I have been indoors! I've heard its bad and not taking chances with air quality. That sound is your writing background. I am so weird, I stare into the distance and mumble. Reading out loud helps me with prose. Music is too distracting when I'm having deep thoughts. But if I'm writing poetry or fiction music is essential. Usually something intense. A Song For You by Donnie Hathaway and To Be Invisible by Gladys Knight.

M. C. Ryder Everyone has their style. I always need some kind of background noise, that generally fits the scene I'm writing, to tune out everything else around me so I'm not distracted. However, I can not listen to music with vocals. I would be signing along lol. The silence can be deafening.

E. Writer Yes, vocals is where I feel the most distracted.
