E. Writer It's scary how common a trait this is.

Alex Morton Victimhood was one of the buttons pushed by a certain political figure to manipulate voters. "You are the victim of immigrants, dark people, gay people, transgenders, Asians, Jews, Muslims, neurodivergents, scientists, medical researchers, intellectuals ... and I will save you from them." It's truly heartbreaking how well the strategy worked.

E. Writer I feel like this all the time. Every year I miss the year before.

Andrew Morgan I've moved around in my life enough that I'm homesick for all these places and people and times. But especially for the Sonoran Desert, I went to HS on the north edge of Phoenix (wide open then and now nothing but absurd lawns and subdivisions). It was the early 70s and we were desert rat hippies.

E. Writer I met her in college in 1999 at Chicago State university on my birthday! She was the keynote speaker at the annual Black Writer's Conference. We sat back to back (our chairs) at the banquet. Her speech was phenomenal. She did Shakespeare a d Paul Laurence Dunbar, We Wear the Mask.
