And I'd like to announce my new novel just released: Rise up and Shine, taken from some of my experiences as a homeless person on the streets of New York City in 1988. I went on to obtain a job with the US Department of Veterans Affairs, at Montrose, New York and retired in 2013 and relocated to Alabama.

Roy Scarbrough I am never able to decide what is the best. There are so many different kinds of bests.
One kind of best is Francis Ford Coppola's Apocalypse now. I love how it re-imagines the horrors great Joseph Conrad novel that depict European colonialism in Africa, as America's failed occupation of Vietnam. The Congo River becomes the Mekong.
E. Hughes I have a few films that I feel is a cut above most films. Spike Lee's Malcolm X, Scorsese's The Aviator (much as I don't like the sone of the subtext in his work.) I think the Godfather I and II is excellent work. Hayoa Miyazaki's animated movies are top tier. So many movies are forgettable that I am comfortable noting the ones that are great.
Alex M While Godfather III is often looked upon as a failure, it's attempt to be an opera gives it a certain gravitas that, I feel, shouldn't be ignored. Yes, it overreached, but that isn't that the obligation of the artist?
