To the artists on the site.
What motivates you to write, draw, sculpt, etc.
For me, I like seeing the finished product. Doesn't matter if I'll ever sell my resin pieces or paintings. It's the fact that I'm holding something that I put so much time, effort, and care into finally coming into fruition.

E. Writer Artists are rarely acknowledged in their lifetime. Their work has more value when they are gone. I agree, it's about the completion and amassing the volume of work for me, with the mind that this is my created art, made from my mind and hands.
Alex Morton I've spent my life around people in the arts. ... painters, musicians, writers, dancers and sculptors. My wife is a potter., whose work is entirely unique. We all do it because we love actually doing it. I'm a writer and musician. I have to be doing something creative or I get bored to death. When I was in the tech industry, I survived emotionally because I turned my creativity toward inventing things. And when I got out of the industry, I turned around and wrote a book of short stories about it.
E. Writer Awww that's wonderful that you and your wife are creative. She probably has a deep understanding of your passion as an artist. The both of you towards each other.
