E. Writer I've seen the damage it does. It has been attacking my business all year. Giving it fake reviews because it keeps mixing me up with another entity. Then it started the real vicious attacks. it's been insane. I had to threaten Google with a lawsuit. It has done a lot of real world damage to my brand.
Andrew Morgan I'm a stickler abt my vanilla. I've learned that real vanilla is hard to come by and easily synthesized but the synth is not a match for the real. By a gentleman's agreement of regulators and industry, real vanilla and only the real is labelled "vanilla bean." For some years I was able to find one grocery store with one offering of yogurt with the bean, but during the pandemic that crapped out. Now a new chain took over a different store and I find one offering of yogurt with the bean there, but it also has a crapload of added sugar. Why??? Maybe time to buy the bean direct and mix it into plain yogurt myself. Or just complain. That's my customary solution to anything, after all.
E. Writer I remember reading that some parts of artificial vanilla comes from some a beaver's anal glands or near the anal glands. I forget which one. So I would not eat artificial vanilla anything for that reason. Who was the first person to test or figure it out?
