I gotta say I'm pretty impressed with Sony right now. I actually found out their controllers have a one year warranty... My daughter dropped off my package at FedEx on Sunday, by tuesday they had the return and got the new one out....and I already have it today :)

SJ Blues I am too because I would have never suspected FedEx to deliver something so early

The Evil Dead was released on this day of 1983 (US).

Andrew Morgan I have no idea what that is but looks cool--esp if in IMAX.

E. Writer Wow. Godzilla Minus Zero. Looks like this one is set in America. Andrew, Godzilla Minus One was an excellent movie. It has a 99% Rotten Tomatoes score. This probably has the scariest Godzilla of any film they've made. It was released a few years ago. This trailer is a sequel. It's not like those corny Godzilla action movies. I believe this version has different producers. You should check it out on Netflix in Japanese with subtitles. There's also a version that they made in black and white as well. Its good, but I prefer it in color. Godzilla Minus One has a bit of a cult following

Andrew Morgan Thanks, E. I will check it out.

HAPPY 47th ANNIVERSARY TO ONE OF THE GREATEST HORROR FILMS EVER MADE…DAWN OF THE DEAD…Released in the USA to the public, on this very day 47 years ago.

The first ad on the left was in ā€œThe Pittsburgh Pressā€ newspaper on Thursday April 12, 1979 to promote the gala grand-premiere of DAWN OF THE DEAD at the Gateway Theater in downtown Pittsburgh that night. That was 47 years ago last night. The second ad on the right is from ā€œThe Pittsburgh Pressā€ for Friday April 13, 1979 to promote the official first US theatrical release of DAWN OF THE DEAD in three theaters in the Pittsburgh area. That would be today 47 years ago...Happy Anniversary DAWN OF THE DEAD!

The movie would go on to have a staggered release all over the country in the following months of 1979. Watch the movie today and celebrate for George Romero and everyone that was a part of the movie, that has passed away.
