I created a children's ABC game for my Penelope's children's book and website. It is so adorable. The entire website, which I've had for years. I launched it in 2019 when I published the first children's book. I am so proud of it. And no AI art was used. My books predate its existence.

Hey Alex, is this how your layout appears?

This part 2 of my how to make a Chicago style pizza. Easy dish.

I remember making easy dinner cooking videos a few years ago. This was how to make an easy Chicago style pizza. I have part 1 and part 2. This is part 1.

My favorite Olympic sport to watch was always the ice skaters and gymnastics. I felt that the young man Sato should have won the gold, even if Malinin landed the backflip. He got the backflip, but he also slipped badly and missed his two jumps. So how was he stronger than Sato? Also, I feel that today's skaters are much slower and disjointed than skaters from twenty and thirty years ago but overall, beautiful performances by both:

Alex Morton Speakinng of backflips ... Soraya Bonham is the only female skater I ever saw who did one. It was declared illegal in the Olympics at the time because they deemed it too dangerous https://www.youtube.com/shorts/9V1WTX_veF4

E. Writer There was another skater whose flip was his signature move in the 90s. He was famous for it but i now can't remember his name.

Alex Morton Scott Hamilton

E. Writer Yes, I kept thinking Scott but couldn't recall the last name so I wasn't sure.

For anyone interested in action, there's a KDRAMA called, Are you Human Too? About a robot who was cloned after a young man in a coma and assumes his life so that the young man does not lose his place in his grandfather's company. The young man is a chaebol (a Korean blue-blood). This show is so well done. Watch in Korean with subtitles or it will be a poor experience. This one is fun, but also has its share of drama. There are so many fun themes in Kdramas. There's one show where a woman turns into a dog after midnight due to a curse. The curse is activated when she has her first kiss. American movies and TV shows are not this creative anymore.
Here's the plot to Are You Human Too?

Nam Shin (Seo Kang Joon) is poised to be the heir to the lucrative family-run PK business group… until a shocking and brutal assault leaves him badly injured and comatose. His mother Oh Laura (Kim Sung Ryung), one of South Korea’s top robotics and AI scientists, decides to act to ensure Nam Shin’s medical condition doesn’t jeopardize his chances of taking over PK. She secretly releases Nam Shin III, an android copy of her son, to stand in for Nam Shin, and hires Kang So Bong (Gong Seung Yeon), a former female MMA fighter, as the android’s bodyguard. But schemes are afoot, as unscrupulous individuals try to oust Nam Shin. And things get even messier when So Bong starts to fall for Nam Shin III. Is an unconventional romance in the cards? And can So Bong protect Nam Shin – and Nam Shin III – from harm? This 2018 South Korean drama was directed by Cha Young Hoon.

SJ Blues WATCH THIS SHOW

I'm going to share some of my favorite K-Dramas. You can watch for free on Viki, it's a great streaming platform that you can watch from your computer, TV, or phone. It's where you can basically watch any Japanese, Korean, or TV show from China. It's extremely popular with viewers. IMPORTANT: Never watch KDramas in dubbed English. You will not enjoy the program. One of the appeals of Kdramas is hearing the actors in their natural language and watching and their tones with subtitles. The English dubs are so bad you'll never watch again. One of my favorite shows is Because This is My First Life. Here is the plot:

Nam Sae Hee (Lee Min Ki), a socially awkward IT employee in his early 30s, has exhausted his savings buying a house, leaving him financially strained. Yoon Ji Ho (Jung So Min), a struggling writer in her 30s, finds herself homeless and struggling to make ends meet. When Ji Ho becomes a tenant in Sae Hee's house, their unexpected living arrangement sets the stage for a unique relationship. As they navigate their personal, familial, and financial challenges together, they begin to discover unexpected connections and support in each other's lives. Their journey raises questions about love, survival, and personal growth in difficult economic circumstances. This is a 2017 South Korean drama series directed by Park Joon Hwa.

I'm not watching as many new movies. Is Hollywood making bad movies? I'm Not interested in anything they make.

Alex Morton Okay ... you sold me with Buddy Guy!

Frank Hutton It's a great coda and he delivers the line that nails the whole thing to the wall. Anyway, there're good reasons why Sinners has more Oscar noms than any movie ever. Won't win most of them I suppose, but still. Absolutely brilliant. And an abject example of how genre can be used to successfully deliver intellectual content that in a 'regular' movie would be rejected.

Frank Hutton I'm embarrassed. It's (of course) a Ryan Coogler film, starring Michael B. Jordan. As twin brothers Smoke & Stack, no less. My neuro divergent fingers apologise.

Alex Morton The word vampire n a description always puts me off. But, I will put that aside, based on your enthusiasm, and find a copy to view.

Frank Hutton Cool. After you do, tell me what sociopolitical group you think the vamps represent. They've musical signifiers, but I'm not sure it's that easy.

AI has been given its own social media where AI can chat with AI, and humans cannot register or communicate, they can only watch. This reminds me of Dead Internet Theory, which is a theory that most of the "people" posting online are actually bots. I know this to be somewhat true during certain periods. But it is largely the reason why I dont interact with strangers online. People who argue and make rage-bait comments aren't actually people, they're bots. Here is the AI social media. I observed it for a few minutes. Interesting. Not sure what I think of it.

Check out my friend Julie R. Young's movie, which is streaming on Tubi. It's also available on other streaming networks like Hoopla and Amazon Prime. It's a Christmas musical set during the Civil War. Julie was the screenwriter. I will watch again during the holidays. If you do watch it, be sure to review the movie on IMDB.
