Update: we saved the kitty. Doctor said she did not need to amputate or put him to sleep. Said it was a burst abscess, but could have been a bite from another animal. So they cleaned the wounds , sutured it, and the feral kitty is in a kennel in our house with a cone on its head. The treatment cost $800 for a cat that isn't mine.
I'm beyond sad right now. There are some feral kittens, super tiny little ones that have been going into my backyard. I put heated cat houses and food. Today I saw one of the cats limping badly. It had a gaping leg wound so we trapped it immediately and rushed it to the humane society. They said they may have to amputate the leg, but it looks like the kitty needs to be euthanized. My daughter is at the emergency veterinarian hospital with him now. The bite on the kitty look small, but its actually worse than this. I was in shock when I saw the wound. We're going to do what we can to save "Dumpling."

I have been writing only poetry and nonfiction (philosophy and metaphysics) since 2022. I shifted to a couple of short stories for a local writing association I am a member of, and realize that I have forgotten how to write fiction. It's been 5 years since my last fiction book, and 4 to 5 years of philosophy. To make matters worse, the stories are technically not fiction because the stories are based on true events. Sooo... I feel so rusty. Like I've lost my natural rhythm, my narrative voice, and flow. I keep reverting to a nonfiction narrative voice. 😔 I will remember next time to keep my fiction voice active. I'm doing my best to write my heart out. I guess it comes down to, use it or lose. Stay active, no matter the genre.

Last night I had an extremely lucid dream. It was so vivid I wasn't sure I was actually dreaming. I was walking to my bedroom after a nature break. As I sluggishly walked, still in a sleep haze / stupor, I walked right into a wall. I smacked my forehead right into it and my head snapped back with force. I winced and opened my eyes. I was actually in bed, gazing up at the ceiling. That was how I woke up this morning. The trippy part of the dream was that, as I lay there in bed, awake trying to process what happened, I still could not determine if I had been walking or asleep and dreaming (I'm still 40% unsure). The sensation I felt when I opened my eyes was that my spirit had been traveling and had jumped back into my body when I ran into the wall, as if I had been in two places at once. That's not what I believe, that's how it felt physically. I have been having extremely odd dreams lately.

In my book, The Absence of Reality I wrote briefly about how scientists will use wetware, which are human neurons to run computer processing and AI because it uses fewer resources. This is happening now, in Switzerland, and is widely reported news.

1. Human beings are consumers.
2. Human beings (our data) has become a commodity. especially to big tech.
3. Human neurons are now used as the "tool" that is part of the product. For now, the human neurons are grown on microchips and attached using nano-wires. But the time will come, when scientists will want to tap into that 80-100 watts of energy that humans generate naturally.

Yesterday I was tired and took a nap around 4 pm. I woke up at 9pm. I realized I had to catch up on work that I missed because I took a nap. I started working and when I was done I looked up and it was after 9 am
I worked almost 12 hours overnight without realizing it. This weekend I am taking a break before I burn completely out. I have a new book to write that is so complex I'm sure people will wonder where I got the hubris, the very nerve to write it. I'm nervous about this book. I have some poems to complete, so in the end even though I'm taking a break and giving myself the weekend off, I'm still doing a form of work.

I'm hitting a busy peak so I won't be around as much for a week or two.

Someone showed me how this site looks on their computer and it looks so different from mine. I don't know how people can use the site with the menu closed because it's not easy to get around when it's not open. Here's a pic that shows how to keep the side menu open. otherwise you'll just see a left and a right screen.

I used to play a game with my younger relatives when they were teens where I would "guess" the number they were thinking. I would guess correctly without anyone writing anything down or telling me the number. One of my favorite cousins was so shaken by this, that she wanted to leave because she was very spooked as she thought I could read their minds. In reality, I used a simple math trick/equation to "guess" the number without them telling me their number. I turned it into an online game.
