So, I was reading a book where a character gets tortured and I realized I hate it when people torture show that they are evil. Like, I've seen this character blow the personality out of someone's head like several times (Key and Peele reference) and do awful things. You don't have to torture someone to further show that.
E. Writer I agree. I feel like long drawn out scenes showing someone being tortured, even though it's a fictional, is unnecessary. I feel like people who enjoy those scenes have something wrong with them, or are perhaps are inwardly a bit depraved. I was watching Game of Thrones (which I started calling Game of Murder) , I stopped watching when they started torturing and tormenting Theron for multiple episodes. Theron wasn't a nice character in the first place, but it was too much, even if it's fictional. When I went back a few years later to attempt to watch it again, I skipped those scenes. But the rest of the show was just as awful with all of the constantly killing every single episode.

After my health plummeted on Monday, I've been taking it easy and stress-free and while I'm nowhere near 100%, I'm better than I was days ago. If I keep taking it easy and light, I'm hoping to be back to my 100% by the end of next week (knock on wood)
E. Writer I am so glad you are feeling a little better. Praying you get well sooner.
Amber Diva God Bless You
E. Writer SJ, I made it not even 3 seconds and had enough. I want to encourage you never to share that again.
