E. Hughes Little monkey had the cutest face. But what was that fruit?

SJ Blues I have no idea but it looked delicious

Alex M I am not a fan of monkeys and still carry a scar on my hand from one who bit me. I will dig out the story, later today or tomorrow and post it.

E. Hughes They're so cute, but from afar. They can really hurt a person

So after doing videos for a while, I think I'm better off going back to livestreaming. Outside of the few bursts, I
saw more results with Livestreaming versus regular videos

E. Hughes Makes sense if that's where you get the most engagement.

She's a loser! LOSER LOSER LOSER!

I will never forget you, Agnes

Shhh, pretend this is the first time you've seen this

best girl 🥲

WHY IS THIS GACHA HORSE GAME FUN THO?!

Now with that done, back to the project I'm working on

I don't know why but I've always been someone that analyses music. I take it apart layer by layer to hear the story that it's presenting. I've been listening to the Sinners Soundtrack for days and I think out of all of the songs, Smokestack Twins is my favorite.

Without the context of the movie, the song feels like its two people having a conversation. the conversation starts off at 0:00 to 0:26 with Character A, who portrays this carefree, confident, nostalgic whimsy. We don't know what the first character is talking about. it could be about a pleasant memory or the sight of a flower on the side of the road, but they are making light of the situation they are in.

The conversation is briefly interrupted by Character B at 0:27, who is trying to focus on getting to where they have to be and tries to bring Character A's attention back to the task at hand. Unfortunately, Character A brushes off Character B's attempt at getting them to face the grittiness of their situation at 0:32 and continues to make light of it all..

Sadly, it's only for a moment before Character B strongly interjects at 0:41, reminding Character A of the realness of the situation they were in and that there wasn't anytime time for levity and this goes on for a long time until 0:58.

It's at 0:58 where Character A tries to reminiscence about the past. About when things weren't as dire as they were now and for the first time, the harsh and gritty shell that surrounds Character B cracks and you see the person beneath it. Slowly, but surely, Character B starts to reminiscence as well. It's a melancholy moment that reveals that the two haven't been seeing eye to eye for a long time, perhaps they were even separated up until the situation they were in reunited them in this single goal.

But whatever the situation, its a moment where the two reveal that they both long for that time. But then, at 1:27, Character B sharply ends the moment. I could go on and on about this piece but there is so much in it. Grittiness, nostalgia, melancholy, hope and longing. I love this track so much.

E. Hughes Ludwig has done some great work. I know him because of Childish Gambino/Donald Glover. He produced his song, This is America" , which was brilliant https://youtu.be/VYOjWnS4cMY?si=-pBooFmum714rRvh

M. C. Ryder I enjoy feeling that deeper connection with music as well, and funny how we all analyze it differently... (I have not seen Sinners so the music speaks different to me.)

E. Hughes Me too. The movie Magnolia (Tom Cruise) had a strong sound track that created an entire mood and Waiting to Exhale and Boomerang were two that I liked. I'm sure there are more that I'm not thinking about at the moment.

SJ Blues I will definitely say to catch Sinners M. C. Ryder or at least its soundtrack because both are great

M. C. Ryder After listening to the sound of this piece, I'm definitely interested!
