E. Writer I saw this little guy in the news.
I don't care for insects in general, but lightning bugs? I adore them so much, and seeing them is akin to seeing a unicorn due to insecticides nearly wiping them out. Whenever the backyard isn't cut, so many lightning bugs come out and thrive. It's beautiful
E. Writer For the first time in years I am seeing lightning bugs.
Alex Morton Have you ever seen a glow worm? One night, in Greece, I went outside and it looked as if a tiny neon light was on my wall. It really looked like something electronic. When I finally got up close to it, it was a little insect that had something phosphorescent in its makeup.
E. Writer Oh wow. I remember this toy when I was growing up called a gloworm. You sleep woth it and its face would glow. So that toy was probably based on a real bug.
Andrew Morgan They're so lovely, a marvel of nature. They inspire in everyone a feeling of wonder, of sharing the magic of life. I've read that they're in decline bec of light pollution.

E. Writer That is so worrying, especially since I eat a lot of veggies. I growy own too so ill stick with that for a while.
SJ Blues Yeah. I chose the worst year to go on a diet. The main ingredient for the diet is cursed right now :(
E. Writer They found that Taylor Farm products is a big source. I will be growing my lettuce via aerogarden for a while now.
