this picture always cracks me up. poor girl is going through it

So, as a comic book fan, one of my favorite hobbies is looking at all the covers. I still can't figure out how Marvel let this cover happen

Andrew Morgan Great illustrators don't get enough credit.
I hate how the Weeknd is such an awful person because his songs never fails at putting me in my feelings
E. Writer I haven't heard a single song by him, but heard he is wildly popular.
SJ Blues Someone once said his songs are like a haunted strip club lol. he's popular also a misogynist
Arquay Books I love his music!
E. Writer I am so out of the loop. I only listen to oldies. No new music in at least a decade or more lol

that project has been completed. I am exhausted
This special project that I'm doing is taking so long. I was hoping to be done with it yesterday but nope, there is a good bit of problems with it, so it'll probably be done tomorrow. It sucks because its cutting into other projects I could have gotten done
E. Writer This infantilization of women I've always found a bit disturbing. But I realize there's a cultural difference in making things "cute."
SJ Blues While I agree with that, this song isn't quite made because of that. It was made to cheer people up after the Japanese earthquake back in 2011.
E. Writer Awww that is really sweet.

Alex Morton It's more like Elizabethan times with a king fighting against the Catholic Church.
E. Writer Yes, the world has reach that level now. Nothing is sacred. There's no respect for anything or anyone. It was always a slippery slope, so here we are.
Alex Morton Remember, though, this is all from the US's perspective. There's a lot more to the world than the US. The problem in much of the world IS the US. I don't find that morality, decency, empathy and compassion are regressing in Canada, nor do I find that in Greece ... the other country that I know well. In fact, it's quite the opposite. And from friends in Portugal, Iceland, Spain and other countries, their observation is the same. It is the US that is sliding, not the whole world. So-called populism, which is really authoritarianism, is finally on the wane as is evidenced by the recent election in Hungary. Perhaps, the tide will soon turn in the US. In that regard, social media has to be reined in. That movement has already begun with Australia keeping kids off social media and legislation is now in the works to do that in Canada. Next, social media, overall, has to be held to the fire and forced to become responsible. It's use as a propaganda machine has to be curtailed.
E. Writer Yeah I can't speak for the rest of the world, except of what I see from people online, where people often convey thoughts that are usually unspoken in the real world. So from that particular perspective, no one seems "nice" anymore and being online is no reason for the unkindness. Though I am sure there are people in the U.S. and other parts of the world who are nice. I consider myself one of them, despite being American. It is sad what has happened to the world, and how the reputations of everyone in this country has been ruined as a result of some ideologies.
Alex Morton I'm a member of a Canadian social media site called hey..cafe. Very polite, very Canadian, I don't think populism is an ideology, but rather a code name for hoodwinking the masses. The people don't put an authoritarian in place ... the authoritarian uses them.
