Clearly, this movie is a comedy and not a horror film, but two of its students are horror movie enthusiasts. Plus we get a scene where they're watching "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre"-1974 and a "gross out" scene. The film stars horror alumni Shawnee Smith(Saw franchise), Dean Cameron(Bad Dreams-1988), Kelly Jo Minter(A Nightmare on Elm Street 5-1989), Ken Olandt(Leprechaun-1992) and Beau Starr(Halloween 4 and 5). Plus E.G. Daily (The Devil's Rejects-2007) has a song/music video for the song "Mind Over Matter".

E. Writer Right. When I was a kid, the movie where he is turned into a fish, The Incredible Mr. Limpett was one of my favorite movies. It was before VCRs and VHS was popular, so we had to wait until it came on as a classic movie. I'll always remember him as Mr. Furley on THree's Company lol
HAPPY 66TH BIRTHDAY TO LANCE GUEST!
Today we celebrate Lance Guest, forever remembered by Halloween fans as Jimmy in 1981’s Halloween II. The young ambulance driver develops a sweet connection with Laurie Strode while Michael Myers stalks the dark and strangely deserted halls of Haddonfield Memorial Hospital.
Halloween II was the first movie Guest ever filmed. Coming from a theater background, he recalled having to adjust to shooting scenes out of order with very little rehearsal.
Most of his work took place during night shoots, and he spent much of the production covered in sticky Karo syrup blood.
Lance first met Jamie Lee Curtis at his audition and remembered being impressed by her energy, sense of humor and dedication to the role.
Jimmy’s fate was left somewhat uncertain in the theatrical version after he slipped in a pool of blood and collapsed inside his car.
However, Lance has always believed Jimmy survived because the character lived in the original script.
The television version also includes an alternate ending showing Jimmy alive in the ambulance with Laurie.
Guest went on to become an ’80s cult movie favorite as Alex Rogan and his robotic replacement Beta in The Last Starfighter, directed by original Michael Myers performer Nick Castle. His other film credits include I Ought to Be in Pictures, The Wizard of Loneliness and Jaws: The Revenge, in which he played Michael Brody.
His extensive television career has included appearances on Dallas, Lou Grant, Knots Landing, Life Goes On, The X-Files, Party of Five, NYPD Blue, House and Jericho. He also took his talents to the stage, portraying Johnny Cash in the hit musical Million Dollar Quartet on Broadway and in other productions.
More than four decades after his night at Haddonfield Memorial Hospital, Lance remains a beloved member of the Halloween family. Please join us in wishing Lance Guest a very happy birthday! 🔪

Best known for her lead role in "I Spit on Your Grave"-1978. She would revisit the role in "I Spit on Your Grave:Deja Vu"-2019.
Frank Hutton I saw this 1st run in '78 @ a low rent theater in a crappy part of town and it remains the only flick I ever walked out on. Not because of the movie, but the crowd. When the men were winning, guys in the theater cheered them on with vulgar commentary. After the tide turned, the women did the same. Maybe 2/3 thru, it was all so ugly I just blew.
